Content Development & Research
Content Development and Research
Content Development and Research and Evaluation play key roles in the overall TTF process for school improvement :
Content Development
There are two reasons why Content Development is an extremely vital function at TTF and is one of our key strengths.
Firstly, while there is plenty of teacher-training content knowledge available worldwide, the need to contextualize it to the teacher in a classroom in India is critical. Our Content Team studies the latest ideas on teacher-training techniques, and sees how best to adapt them to the relevant classroom settings here.
Secondly, some content needs are very specific and need to be created in the context of the given school or objective. Here again, our Content team leads in analyzing needs and creating modules that fulfill them.
Our Content team works on Curriculum Development as well. We have recently completed Rhyme & Reason: a unique curriculum for Early Years, as well Foundation Years - a Primary School curriculum. To know more about our curricula, please click here

Research and Evaluation
TTF is continuously developing, piloting and evaluating programmes before they get rolled out to ensure that they deliver visible results in the classroom. Our in-house Research and Evaluation Coordinator oversees this to ensure quality and consistency in our training. She gives valuable inputs to Content Development and to the Training Team to fine-tune their programmes and generate better results.
TTF ensures that our programmes are effective. For example, our "Touchstone" programme has consistently shown changes in teacher behaviour in the classroom as seen below. For a report from our Research and Evaluation Team on the evaluation of TTF programmes, please click here
