  2. Contribute to content development of our programmes. Currently, we are asking for your support on the following areas:
    • Developing a Young Teachers’ certificate programme:
This programme, meant for teachers with 0-2 years experience, aims to develop young teachers into reflective professionals who can start to think about WHY they do what they do in class and learn and grow from that starting point. It works on classroom management skills and various ways to improve student learning and build safety and sensitivity in the class. The total cost of the programme is $ 50,000…any support towards meeting this amount will be a huge help!

    • Developing a programme to build skills in student assessment:
As we ask teachers to teach in a more student-centric way from rote-learning, we need to also look at our assessment system and ensure it matches the way we teach. The good news is that this approach is strongly supported by the new CBSE curriculum in India. The Assessment workshop will help teachers to better assess students actual learning on a continuous basis. The cost of developing the programme is $20,000.
