Introduction
TTF's programmes for Heads give all those at the helm of affairs in schools – the Principal, vice-principal, managers, coordinators – a fresh, critical perspective on what constitutes school leadership and the complex responsibilities that it entails.
These enable the Heads to envision, develop and execute school improvement programmes effectively.
HeadLAMP (Heads' Leadership and Management Programme)
It is important to root learning in the reality of our schools. HeadLAMP ensures a hands-on learning experience that contextualizes the role and functions of school headship.
Target Audience
HeadLAMP is for professional learning for school decision-makers, (principals and senior members of schools) that is both personal and meaningful. It is useful for educators who wish to learn how to lead.
Outcomes
HeadLAMP enhances the personal qualities of a school leader, helping them to nurture relationships in school and lead learning for student success. It helps participants to initiate and manage educational change.It helps them learn to use School Improvement Framework, a “repeat-use” tool developed specifically for Indian Schools by TTF, that will serve as a barometer to assess school effectiveness.
Duration
HeadLAMP is a 10-day comprehensive training programme for educators who wish to learn how to lead their schools and their students' learning effectively. It is conveniently conducted in 3 phases of 3 days, 4 days and 3 days each over a period of 4.5 months.

Essential Pieces - Jigsaw of a Successful School
Essential Pieces provides you with a bird’s eye view of the ingrediants of an effective school. It helps you learn about the ‘Corner Pieces’, ‘Straight Pieces’ and ‘Wiggly Pieces’ that can make or break a school. The workshop will help you examine the elements that energize, enrich and enliven your school. It discusses how you can keep your team together with the 4Cs - Communicate, Collaborate, Create and Celebrate!
Target Audience
For emerging leaders, coordinators, correspondents in the school, who have taken up leadership in the school.
Outcome
By the end of the workshop, the leaders will be able to understand how the key elements of the school are interconnected to make the school vibrant, participative and inclusive for all school leaders.
Duration
The workshop comprises of two full days. Each session is full of activities and allows you to work collaboratively with your peers on real school situations.

Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers
The CIDTT, from the University of Cambridge International Examinations, UK, offered in collaboration with the British Council, Chennai is part of TTF's ongoing endeavour to provide educators regular opportunities for growth, learning and career enhancement.
Target Audience
It has been specially designed for school heads and teachers who wish to have a global edge while working or aspiring to work within the local or international school context.
Outcomes
Teachers who satisfy all the course requirements will be awarded the Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers by the University of Cambridge, UK. The Cambridge Diploma combines the rigour of an academic course with practical focus on classroom skills and enhanced teaching competencies that the practicing teacher is always looking for.
Duration
The course offers 4 modules spread across 8 months. The four modules correspond to the key stages in the teaching- learning cycle. Each module comprises a series of individual units and performance criteria. The 4 modules of CIDTT are structured in two parts. The first one consists of 12 days of face-to-face workshops in which the candidates will be briefed on the content as well as the context of each module with respect to their own teaching practices.The second part of the program is the TEACHING PRACTICE. The University of Cambridge requires its candidates to conduct 10 hours of teaching practice. In two out of these ten hours, they will be observed.
