The CIDTT, from the University of Cambridge International Examinations, UK, offered in collaboration with the British Council, Chennai is part of TTF's ongoing endeavour to provide educators regular opportunities for growth, learning and career enhancement.

It has been specially designed for school heads and teachers who wish to have a global edge while working or aspiring to work within the local or international school context.

Teachers who satisfy all the course requirements will be awarded the Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers by the University of Cambridge, UK. The Cambridge Diploma combines the rigour of an academic course with practical focus on classroom skills and enhanced teaching competencies that the practicing teacher is always looking for.

The course offers 4 modules spread across 8 months. The four modules correspond to the key stages in the teaching- learning cycle. Each module comprises a series of individual units and performance criteria. The 4 modules of CIDTT are structured in two parts. The first one consists of 12 days of face-to-face workshops in which the candidates will be briefed on the content as well as the context of each module with respect to their own teaching practices.The second part of the program is the TEACHING PRACTICE. The University of Cambridge requires its candidates to conduct 10 hours of teaching practice. In two out of these ten hours, they will be observed.

For teachers who want to help their students improve speaking skills

Using Talk Now, you can help your learners to engage themselves in meaningful conversation both inside and outside their class. Teachers will be able to do a variety of speaking activities in their class, by integrating them with the text books.

A one-day workshop to familiarize the teachers with the book and how to use it. This is followed by 2 sessions of School Based Support and feedback, to enable the teachers handle the resource effectively.

English Encounters is a programme designed to enhance fluency in English among practicing teachers. It provides teachers with focused inputs to enable them to use language effectively for better communication. It will enrich vocabulary and enable them to use questioning as an effective tool in their classroom.

School teachers who want to be fluent and accurate speakers in English and better performers in classrooms with appropriate and effective use of language.

Builds confidence and makes teachers effective users of English in their classrooms and elsewhere. Their errors will be minimized, with increased fluency. Effective questioning techniques will be imparted to promote and encourage language learning.

English Encounters comprise of 20 sessions of 2-3 hours each. All sessions are activity based and accommodates comprehension of various themes. They encourage active teacher participation and learning which will reflect in their classroom performance

The CCWS is our salad bowl of easy to chew workshops – short (half-day) capsules for the professional and personal development of teachers conducted at various TTF Centers. It covers a range of classroom concept in practical, unusual, inspiring and creative ways. Overall, it enriches teaching - learning experiences for the teacher and her students.

For teachers who want to attend crisp and short sessions on various aspects of teaching learning to enhance their skills.

Each workshop in the CCWS stands to offer new ideas and possibilities for teaching empowering participants to create magic in every single class they conduct!The structure of the workshops lend themselves to having plenty of group work and focussed group discussions on very specific areas of teaching. This way there is a tremendous practical relevance of learnings from these workshop in modern day classrooms.

The workshops are conveniently scheduled after school hours (between 2:30pm and 5:30 pm)Schools can train as many teachers in its staff on a variety of topics in a span of just 2 months! The workshops are held at a centrally located school to make it accessible for teachers travelling across the city!.
