The 500 Teacher Awards Ceremony
TTF’s 500 teacher project, supported by Nomura, culminated
with a graduation ceremony held on 6th July 2019 at Ramada Powai!
Highlights of the 3rd Quarter
CONGRATULATIONS!
Ms Nasreen Taj, trained as a School Coach by TTF, wins the Best Teacher award
on 5th September 2019 from the Karnataka Government!
Graduation Ceremony
66 coaches, from Savanur taluk of Haveri district, graduate
after completing TTF's Coaching for School Success programme -
a one year initiative that culminated in July 2019.
Introductory workshop on the Indian Social &
Emotional Learning Framework
With this workshop participants were able to
- examine their own perceptions and beliefs about SEL
- look at implications of SEL on teachers and students
- navigate through the different components of ISELF
and its Companion Handbook
- prepare a plan to integrate ISELF in their daily work
A 300 strong teacher development initiative in Udupi district
In association with Dr BR and CR Shetty Foundation, these teacher
participants are undergoing school-based support & professional
training over a sustained 12 month period, beginning April 2019.
#HAPPYTEACHERS CONTEST
In celebration of Teachers' Day on 5th Sept, TTF ran a contest on FB
which garnered a huge response. 3 participants won
vouchers of Rs 1000 each, from Fab India!
We also had educators give their take on what it is to be a
#HappyTeacher!
Every Teacher,
More Enabled, More Inspired
On average, a teacher teaches 40 children a year.
Over a 25 year career, that is one thousand children.
That means, when we enable and inspire ONE teacher, we touch over
ONE THOUSAND lives.
So contribute to ONE teacher’s training and touch the lives of a thousand children!
