The Buzz @ TTF
July to September 2025

These past few months have been a whirlwind of workshops, school visits, and inspiring conversations with educators!
We’ve also been busy preparing for the Schools that Care '25 mini conferences that are being held in schools in Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi NCR.

Some glimpses of our recent work are shared below.

Schools that Care '25
Schools that Care 2025!

Today’s schools face growing societal concerns—rising aggression, the impact of social media, reduced empathy and sensitivity - making the development of personal and citizenship skills in students more important than ever.

We are delighted to share that Jenny Mosley, creator of Whole School Quality Circle Time, is coming to India, after a gap of 8 years, to conduct her transformative sessions in three cities - Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi NCR!

This is an exciting opportunity for educators to discover new ways to engage and inspire their classrooms. Sign up today!

TTF's work with Private Schools

 ISELF workshop

Social-emotional learning is the foundational pillar on which the rich repertoire of work we do at TTF stands. TTF’s seminal research on development of the age-banded Indian Social Emotional Learning Framework has been gaining traction. Over 40 teachers/counsellors from 30 organizations across India joined TTF’s online workshop on Indian Social & Emotional Learning. The 1.5 days workshop helped the participants to understand how to develop 5 vital social-emotional competencies in children: Self Awareness, Self Management, Relationship Management, Social Awareness and Decision Making; among other crucial aspects. Avani Kulkarni from Red Bricks Foundation writes that the two ways she would use her learnings from the workshop is by 'using learning outcomes as benchmarks in designing of SEL sessions and using reflective practices for teachers to strengthen SEL skills.'

Moreover, the Regional Institute of Education, Mysore a subsidiary of the National Council of Educational Reserach & Training (NCERT) Delhi invited The Teacher Foundation for a 3 day consultation for the development of SEL Assessment Tools for senior school students and teachers.

& other Bespoke Solutions

TTF conducted a series of workshops at JBCN International School, Borivali which included QCT, a structured yet flexible approach that nurtures the social and emotional development of students; and an Orientation to the Safe & Sensitive Schools (SASS) Initiative undertaken by JBCN. The school also invested in workshops on Classroom Management & Progress in Early Years for their pre-primary teachers.
Mansi Bhatt writes that she will apply her learnings in two ways: 'Initially address student behaviour within the classroom before approaching parents, and secondly, use routines to support better classroom management.'

Our collaboration with JSW Foundation to offer the JSW schools personalised solutions for enhancing teaching and learning at their schools has gathered good momentum! Nearly all nine JSW schools have now completed the first two modules on pedagogy training, as well as Module 1 of the online English Encounters programme.
