As the year draws to a close, we extend our warmest Season’s Greetings and heartfelt thanks to all the educators and partner organisations who journeyed with us through 2025.

Panel Discussions @ Schools That Care

As part of the Schools That Care’25 conference, each school hosted panel discussions centred on Teacher Wellbeing and Student Voice & Agency. Our panelists ranged from high profile educators, social activists, well-being specialists, gay politicians to senior school students. Here are some thought-provoking insights shared by the panelists

On Teacher Wellbeing – Mahesh Prasad, Principal, Step by Step School, Noida, says, "Teachers are constantly living in survival mode.... They want to feel valued. Learning happens with relationships."

"Is Teacher Wellbeing a personal endeavour or a systemic endeavour?" Neha Bhatia, Co-Founder Karuna Practice, likened this question to the Delhi Pollution Crisis...."So do we say it's your lungs so do what you need to do? Or is it a collective systemic problem that needs to be addressed seriously?

On Student Voice & Agency, a Grade 11 student said,
"When it comes to student voice and agency, what truly matters is the range of opportunities and the support that schools provide. When a school encourages students to explore diverse paths and stands by them no matter which direction they choose, that’s when real student agency takes root,"

Dr Shekhar Seshadri, the respected child psychiatrist, said, "An ecosystem rich in art and aesthetics is valuable, but the true essence of schooling lies beyond that — it’s about nurturing well-rounded, egalitarian individuals. What we truly need is an ecosystem that offers every learner equal opportunities to grow, express, and thrive."
