Improve School Learning for 40,000 children!
Join us for the Global Giving Challenge!
Do you know, according to a 2008 study, only 28% of Indian children in Grade 5 can do simple mathematical division? And only 41% of them can read a Grade 2 text? Do you know, in Yadgiri, Karnataka, just 29% passed the Grade 12 Examination? Children in the backward districts of Karnataka, India learn very little in schools due to the inadequate quality of teaching. The Teacher Foundation has announced a great project on Global Giving, to improve learning of 40,000 children in rural Karnataka. This project requires $16,000 to implement a proven 1-year training program to transform the teaching skills of 100 rural school teachers. Contribute to and support TTF’s Global Open Challenge on Global Giving and improve school learning for 40,000 children. Read more/Donate!
