Enabling Teachers to Improve Children’s Numeracy, English Language and Social- Emotional Skills

100 Govt School teachers from 15 Primary Schools in Dindori Block – Nashik District of Maharashtra are being equipped with effective methodologies to teach literacy and numeracy to the students of these schools. The focus of this programme is to improve children’s foundational skills in literacy (English), numeracy and Social Emotional Skills.

Jenny Mosley’s Quality Circle Time will be the approach of the training, to equip teachers with the skills to hold effective conversations in their classroom, thereby contributing to the fostering of student well-being. The programme has been planned as a 3 year project.

To achieve this we are working closely with schools through Demo lessons in Math and English, and Classroom observations followed by one on one feedback. In order to assess the impact of the programme we are conducting Baseline, Midline and Endline assessments.
