Bringing the World to the Classroom

A TTF School Leaders’ Collective 2025

On January 31st, 33 school heads and senior coordinators from across Bengaluru came together at the Museum of Art & Photography (MAP) for The Teacher Foundation’s School Leaders’ Collective (SLC).

Hosted in collaboration with MAP, the event centered around the theme “Bringing the World to the Classroom” — a call to make education more inclusive, globally connected, and grounded in real-world experiences.

Participants explored how art can serve as a powerful medium to deepen learning across subjects, spark creativity, and cultivate empathy. Rich discussions also delved into the possibilities of Generative AI in education, and the importance of engaging with themes like gender and sexuality to promote equity and critical thinking.

The SLC offered a space for school leaders to reflect, connect, and reimagine classrooms as dynamic, inclusive, and future-ready learning environments.

New Strands of Assessment

A TTF School Leaders' Collective 2024

56 Heads and leaders from 30 schools across Bangalore attended TTF’s School Leaders’ Collective on 16th Feb on ‘New Strands of Assessment’.

While The School Report Card, Assessment of Teacher Effectiveness and Assessing Students’ Social and Emotional Competencies were focal points of the Collective, it was interspersed with Energisers (a la TTF style!), culminating with an Assessment of the participants’ understanding of the topics.

Vision to Action

A TTF School Leaders' Collective 2023

After a gap of 3 years, TTF held its first in-person School Leaders’ Collective for schools in Bangalore on 31st March 2023 and in Mumbai on 25th April 2023. The theme of the collective was Vision to Action.

It was attended by Heads of Schools, Principals and others from schools across Bangalore and Mumbai, respectively. With a Word Finder to start the afternoon, the participants were taken through results of a survey they had filled out, to learnings from the Schools of the Future Conference held earlier in January.

A Scavenger Hunt helped participants discover the multitude of programmes TTF has to offer, both short and sustained; modules which can truly assist teachers and Heads when schools are struggling to bridge the learning gap that has occurred due to the pandemic.

On average, a teacher teaches at least forty children every year. Over a 25 year career, that is one thousand children. That means, when we enable and inspire ONE teacher, we touch over ONE THOUSAND lives. So contribute to ONE teacher’s training and touch the lives of a thousand children!
